Urgam Valley is nestled in Uttarakhand, India, at an altitude of approx. 2300 meters. Due to its largely untouched nature, it is the homeland of a variety of wildlife – including birds, butterflies, reptiles, insects and mammals.
Based at the YogMatra EcoStay, our small team has started to document the Valley´s diverse bird and butterfly wildlife in March 2024. You can find a selection of our work here.
