Date : 07th November to 14th November, 2021 Group size : 12 Retreat Location : Rishikesh Level : Beginner to Intermediate About Rishikesh : Rishikesh, also spelt as Hrishikesh, is a city governed by Rishikesh Municipal Corporation (since October 2017) and a tehsil in Dehradun district of the Indian state Uttarakhand. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, it is known as the "Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas" and "Yoga Capital of the World". It lies 21 km (13 mi) north of the city Haridwar and 45 km (28 mi) southeast of the state capital Dehradun. Rishikesh has an approximate population of between 252,533 and 320,222, making it the seventh most populated city in the state of Uttarakhand. It is known as the pilgrimage town and regarded as one of the holiest places for Hindus. Hindu sages and saints have visited Rishikesh since ancient times to meditate in search of higher knowledge. What to expect from Yoga Retreat,
  • Daily Pranayama, Yoga Asana, Meditation and Yoga Philosophy classes. If you're a beginner, this retreat will help you to understand Yoga and get into Yogic life. If you're an intermediate practitioner, you can deepen your practice by attending this retreat. Manav Ji will take care of morning classes and Satish Ji will take care of evening classes.
  • We will also incorporate Karma Yoga into our daily lives by volunteering in the Cow feeding activities run by Seva Karma Sukaushlam.
  • Understand Bhakti Yoga through Bhajans and Satsangs.
  • A workshop on Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Massage by Sachendra Ji

Please take a look at our faculty, Manoj Agrawal (Manav Ji) Manav Ji Manav Ji is a classical Hatha Yoga Teacher as well as certified Yoga Alliance Teacher (E-RYT 900) with an experience of around six years. He started learning yoga with classical teachers who follow the traditional style of teaching. After completing thousands of hours of teacher's training, he was initiated with his spiritual name 'Manav' by one of his teachers - translated as Human into English. Therefore, Manav Ji has a gift of being able to connect with his students on the deepest human level, touching hearts of those who attend his sessions. In this Yoga Retreat, Manav Ji will take care of morning classes like Pranayama, Hatha Asana and Yoga Philosophy. Satish Nautiyal (Yogi Satish) Yogi Satish Ji is a professional Yoga Asana teacher. He is learning Yoga and Vedanta since his childhood. He believes that Yoga is a vast concept and whole life you can learn it and spread the knowledge with everyone. He has more than six years of teaching experience in Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga. He also teaches Vedanta Philosophy and has good command in Vedic mantras chanting. He begins his Asana class with mantra chanting in an authentic manner which gives inner peace (Om Shanti) to his students. He is a certified Yoga Alliance Teacher (E-RYT 500). In this Yoga Retreat, Satish Ji will take care of evening classes like Yoga Asana, Meditation, Yog Nidra, Mantra Chanting etc. Sachendra Pal (Yogi Sach) Yogi Sach Sachendra is a US Alliance 200 Hours registered yoga teacher from Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World. He has more than 2 years teaching experience and has traveled to countries like Thailand and Indonesia to teach in Yoga Retreats. He has managed many Yoga Retreats, Ayurvedic Massage workshops, pilgrimage and cultural tours in Uttarakhand and different parts of India. He is also an Ayurvedic Massage Therapist with more than 2 years of experience. By profession he is a software engineer with an experience of around 4 years and holds a Masters Degree in Computer Applications. In this Yoga Retreat, Sach Ji is our retreat coordinator and he will make sure that everything runs smoothly. Sach Ji will also take a workshop on Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Massage.

07th November, Sunday :

-- Arrive at our Retreat Center. Settle down and get ready for Hawan ceremony in the evening.

06 PM : Opening ceremony and group introduction.

08th November, Monday :

07:00 AM : Herbal Tea or Black Tea will be provided.
07:30 AM : Start your day with morning Yoga and Pranayama practice.
09:30 AM : Traditional Indian Breakfast provided along with fruits.
11:00 AM : Yoga Philosophy Class
12:00 PM : We will go for the local sightseeing like visiting Ganga beaches, exploring around Laxman Jhula etc. Lunch will be done in some cafes or restaurant.

12:00 PM : We will pay a visit to famous Beatles Aashram in Rajaji National Park. The forest ticket will be borne by the participant.

10th November, Wednesday :

07:00 AM : Herbal Tea or Black Tea will be provided.

11:00 AM : Yoga Philosophy Class
12:00 PM : This will be your day, so after breakfast you're free to go anywhere you want.
04:00 PM : Cow feeding as part of Karma Yoga.
05:00 PM : Leave for sunset Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat or Parmarth Niketan followed by meditation near Ganga. After that we will go for dinner at either Rajasthani Restaurant or Tulsi Cafe.
10:00 PM : Lights Off

11th November, Thursday :

07:00 AM : Herbal Tea or Black Tea will be provided.
07:30 AM : Start your day with morning Yoga and Pranayama practice.
09:30 AM : Traditional Indian Breakfast provided along with fruits.

14th November, Sunday :

09:00 AM : Traditional Indian Breakfast provided along with fruits.
10:00 PM : Closing Ceremony
11:00 AM : Checkout and end the retreat with beautiful smile and memories.

Note : The above price is for shared accommodation. However, if you want private accomodation then 5.5k INR extra needs to be paid.

Cancellation Policy :

• A reservation requires a deposit of minimum INR 5000.
• The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled before 20th October.
• The deposit is 50% refundable if the booking is cancelled from 21st October to 31st October.
• The complete amount should be paid latest by 05th November
• No refund will be done after 31st October.

Yes, anyone can join this retreat even if they don't have any prior experience in Yoga.

You need to carry loose clothes in which you would feel comfortable to do Yoga. For outdoor activities, keep a hat or cap and sunscreen.
You can carry your own Yoga mat if you have.

In November Rishikesh starts to get colder, so carry your winter essentials.

From Airport you will get many cabs and from Railway station you'll get many auto rickshaws. If you want us to book transport for you then please let us know.
